Kernel Season’s Popcorn Seasonings

One week in Palm Desert with ten kids? That’s a lot of snacks. And a perfect opportunity to try Kernel Season’s new Popcorn Seasonings!

Earlier this month, we took our annual trip to Palm Desert with several of our close friends and their respective families. It’s always a fun vacation. But it’s always hotter than Hades. I think it reached 112° a couple of the days.  The kids even tried frying an egg on the cement which really didn’t work as they hopped it would.

The days were spent mostly in and out of the pool but I did manage to get the two oldest girls to come play in the kitchen with me during one especially hot afternoon.  Kernel Season’s had sent me three of their new flavors and my two taste testers were more than happy to give them a try.

The girls loved sprinkling the seasonings on the popcorn.  I gave them little piles of plain popcorn first to taste each flavor.  I really thought these girls would like the pizza flavoring because who doesn’t like pizza?  I was wrong.  They both loved the bacon cheddar flavor.  I’ll admit, it’s my favorite too!

The next night, a couple of the dads wanted in on some of the popcorn action too.  A late night of playing card games and socializing called for snacks!  The guys really liked the buffalo wing flavor – which is really no surprise because our local buffalo wing joint is their favorite place to hang out.
