Adventures in Pinterest

How much do I love Pinterest? Let me count the ways:

1. I saw my friend Valerie pin a couple of biscotti recipe pins a few days ago and what showed up on my door step last night? Yep, chocolate chip biscotti. And they were delicious.

2. The way Pinterest breathes new life into old blog posts. I saw a huge surge in page views from this humorous What Kind of Mom Hair Do You Have? post over the weekend.

3. I asked friends to share some of their favorite crock pot recipes to pin to my Slow Cookin’ board and Betsy offered up this crock pot carrot cake recipe. My reaction? CARROT CAKE IN A CROCK POT?!?! Pinned.

4. The healthy skin pins from Beauty High because wrinkles and breakouts are just cruel.

5. So many repins from my What Does The Fox Say board. Those peeps are crazy like a fox and I love Pinterest for choosing my board to share with their 24K followers!

This month I am hosting Adventures in Pinterest. Not quite sure what Pinterest project I’ll be tackling. Maybe that crock pot carrot cake? There certainly is a lot to choose from right now with Elves and cookie recipes dominating my feed. Maybe some fun DIY Christmas ornaments or holiday decor? Or maybe just…dinner.

What does this all mean for you? It means, we – Anna, Megan, Jess and I – want you to play along. Scroll through your Pinterest boards and actually make, bake, cook, create your own interpretation of those pins you’ve been pinning all.year.long.  If you’re a blogger, write a post about it – make sure to add photos – and link up here on my blog on Friday December, 20th (we’re doing it a little early this month because of Christmas).

Not a blogger? Not a problem! Post your photos on my Facebook and I’ll share them with everyone. The girls and I were THRILLED to see Dyanne and Molly link up last month!

Don’t forget: December 20th
